CD and Floppy Disk Materials

This page contains designs for CD labels, a CD envelope, and some floppy disk labels for the OpenOffice.org Press Pack. All labels file are designed to be placed onto appropriate templates and then printed. Currently, only PNG versions are provided. If that is a problem, please email me.

CD Labels
There are three designs for CD labels as shown below, they include both OpenOffice.org and OpenOffice.org 1.0 versions with the "blue horizons" style, plus a more minimalist style.

OpenOffice.org CD Label designs

Please note that each of the graphics below includes a "bleed". That is, when placed onto templates, the CD label image should overlap the edges of the CD itself. This allows for imperfections in printing. As a guide, the image below shows in pink where this bleed begins.

CD Envelope
A simple CD Envelope to match the "blue horizon" CD Labels. This can be downloaded in Acrobat format, printed onto card, then cut out and glued up to produce a simple CD envelope. Full instructions are provided within the Acrobat file.

Floppy Disk Labels
These graphics are for floppy disk labels. Currently, there are two designs available, both with a "Useful Links" title on them -- these are for the OpenOffice.org 1.0 Press Pack. If anyone has use for blank versions, or versions with some other text, please contact me.

Please note that the two images above show the label border in pink. These versions should not be printed of course, but give a guide of how the graphics should be placed for printing. The large versions below (at 600dpi) do not include these border lines!
