Web site logo
Below is a small GIF format logo which is the same size as the logo currently on each page of the OpenOffice.org web site. This new version is a "drop in replacement" but uses the standard OpenOffice.org logo which has a different typeface from the currently in use graphic.

Splash Screen
This is a design for a replacement splash screen for OpenOffice.org 1.0. A replacement for the current splash screen is required because:

• The current splash screen uses the "old" logo with the incorrect type face.
• This new version uses the "OpenOffice.org 1.0" logo. The current splash screen has no version information.
• It has been suggested that the current splash screen is a little "flat". This one has a little more depth.

About Box Graphic
A replacement graphic for the About dialog box, which uses the new official logo and a design to match the splash screen and other materials.

Design Guidelines
This is the an early draft version of OpenOffice.org Logo and Design Guidelines, which provides further information on the OpenOffice.org logos and graphics and gives recommendations on how they should be used.

Icons
In March 2002, I created a new set of OpenOffice.org icons. These were designed to replace the current set which include the StarOffice butterfly emblem.

The full set of icons (as a zip file), which include both "gull" and "bare" icons in a number of sizes and bit depths for both Windows (.ICO) and other platforms (.XPM and .PNG) can be downloaded here.
